The CUNY Games Festival 6.0 will take place on: Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the Borough of Manhattan Community College; Thursday, January 16 at the CUNY Graduate Center; and Friday, January 17 at the Borough of Manhattan Community College. Both are in New York City.

Travel Information

The CUNY Graduate Center is located at 365 Fifth Ave. between 34th and 35th Streets in midtown Manhattan, New York City.

The closest subway stops to the CUNY Graduate Center are the B, D, F, M, N, Q, and R trains at 34th St./Herald Square, one block west, or the 6 train at 33rd St., one block each east and south.

The CUNY Borough of Manhattan Community College is located at two buildings within close walking distance. Fiterman Hall building is on 199 Chambers Street, and Main Building is on 245 Greenwich St. Either building can be reached by the A, C or 1 trains to Chambers Street, or the R to City Hall. (The 2020 conference will be at Fiterman Hall on Wednesday and Friday.)

New York City is well-served by transportation options. There are two major train stations: Penn Station at 34th St. and 7th Ave., and Grand Central at 42nd St. and Park Ave. Major bus service is to Port Authority Terminal at 42nd St. and 8th Ave. The NYC metropolitan area has three major airports: LaGuardia and JFK Airports in Queens and Newark Airport in New Jersey.

Caution: our two conference location campuses (Graduate Center and BMCC) are not within walking distance of each other, so you may want to choose a place to stay that is in between the two locations if you are attending all three days, or build in some extra travel time (about 22 minutes by subway).
